bouchon yountville

this time our napa eat fest was basically a homage to the famous thomas keller.  first stop, bouchon bistro and bakery.  yes, all these food were consumed in one meal.  not a single crumb was wasted.  and you wondered how i gained all this weight.  totally worth it… well, kind of.

french onion soup

macaroni au gratin (mac 'n' cheese)

croque madame

daily special - sole

gnocchi à la parisienne

pain au raisin

huge french macarons

strawberry almond baba au rhum, lemon meringue tart

OMG!!! Bouchon is my top favorite restaurant in the world. My husband and I had our dinner after wedding in Las Vegas at Bouchon in Venezia-its was amazing: atmosphere, food, staff-absolutely magical and delicious! Too bad I was not in love with macaroons yet at that moment! I hope I get back to visit it again in CA or France itself.

ahhh you’re making me so jealous right now! bouchon macarons are the best because they’re so much larger than the two-bite “normal sized” macarons! haha. i don’t think i could ever get sick of macarons.
