it’s just a little crush: atlantic-pacific

one of the blogs i have to check daily is atlantic-pacific. bee is the master of mixing textures and shapes.  her outfits are on trend without going overboard.  there are always some kind of geometric playfulness in her looks.  she takes pieces that i’d never have given a second thought about and make it look interesting, yet sophisticated.  i literally want everything she has on.

Woah, that is some serious mixing. Too complicated for me! But I love her looks so much! I can’t imagine how much brain power it would take to complete those outfits!!

You asked if my Sam Edelman “Lorissa” shoes were hard to walk in. (Or if they were heavy)

My answer is YES they are very difficult to walk in especially if you’re not accustomed to wearing heels without platforms. They are somewhat heavy, but that part doesn’t really bother me. The part that bothers me is that it is such a high heel with no platform for support. I believe this other customer described it as “walking on your tippy-toes like a ballerina.” I would describe it as that as well. Would I have returned them if they didn’t have the spikes? Yes. Definitely. But what can I say? They’re beautiful! I am only wearing them to restaurants with parking nearby and to movie theaters, again, with parking nearby 😛
