hope you’re feeling creative today because it’s arts and crafts time! i have collaborated again with yeri for another fun tutorial on how to make an easy diy desk organizer.
on a side note, we put a teeny joke in one of the photos. hope you find it as cheesy and funny as we do. hint: click on the images to enlarge for better view.
Step 1. Go outside and spray paint the inside of the letter organizer. Try to stay within the lines but don’t worry if you go a little over since you’ll cover it up with paper.
Step 2. Once dry, use the sides of the letter organizer to trace the outline. For the front and back pieces, be sure to add about a 1/2″ on each side to overlap the sides and create a nice seam.
Step 3. Cut paper.
Step 4. You should have 4 pieces of paper.
Step 5. Brush on mod podge.
Step 6. Carefully place paper on mod podge. Be sure to smooth as you go.
Step 7. Glue the overlapping sides.
Step 8. Brush on mod podge.
Step 9. Carefully place paper on mod podge. Be sure to smooth as you go.
Step 10. Using an x-acto knife on a cutting mat, trim excess paper.
final hint: the joke is in the last photo!
