vintage lovelies

beyond retail therapy, antiquing is definitely my favorite way to relieve stress.  i go at least twice a month.  what can i say?  i get stressed easily.  it’s one of the few activities in the world that can get me out of the house by myself (i really hate being alone).  most of the time, i would just turn on my ipod and slowly walk through every aisle.  not only is it relaxing, it’s also rewarding to find that special and rare piece.

here are a few recent finds from some of my favorite antique stores.  a beaded scalloped edge evening clutch, an italian side table, and 2 gilded glass jewelry boxes.

i love it so much! i saw it a while ago, but wasn’t sure where to put it in my house. it has been haunting me ever since, so i went back and bought it. it was still there, so that means it was meant to be!

for the bay area, you should totally go to pacfic heights. my fav stores are timeless treasures and past perfect. not the cheapest, but reasonable for city standards.
